XX SEMANA DO ENGENHEIRO DE PESCA HISTÓRICO E PERSPECTIVAS DA ENGENHARIA DE PESCA
A Semana do Engenheiro de Pesca (SEP), tradicionalmente é voltada para a comunidade discente do curso de Engenharia de Pesca da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco, Campus Sede e profissionais de áreas afins, na qual, é realizada na semana que corresponde ao dia do Engenheiro de Pesca, 14 de dezembro. O evento é organizado pelo Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET PESCASEDE), com o apoio da coordenação e diretório acadêmico do curso de Engenharia de Pesca, além de receber apoio de entidades púbicas e privadas do setor produtivo. A XX SEP foi realizada com objetivo de homenagear os profissionais da área da engenharia de pesca, com o tema “histórico e perspectivas da engenharia de pesca”. A programação ocorreu entre os dias 9 e 13 de dezembro de 2019 e ofertou 4 minicursos, 6 mesas temáticas, 9 palestras e 13 apresentações de trabalhos no formato de apresentação oral. O evento contou com 90 inscritos entre graduandos, pós-graduandos e profissionais. A SEP, organizada majoritariamente pelo Grupo PET Pesca, proporcionou o crescimento acadêmico dos discentes do curso e áreas afins, sobretudo no diálogo e na integração de saberes entre as áreas de oportunidade científica e profissional do setor pesqueiro e aquícola.

Abstract:
The Semana do Engenheiro de Pesca (SEP), is traditionally focused to the student community of the fishing engineering course of the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco, Campus Sede and professionals in related fields, which is held in the week corresponding to the day of the Fishing Engineer day, on december 14. The event has been organized by the Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET PESCASEDE), with the support of the coordenation and the academic directory of the fishing engineering course, in addition to receiving support from public and private entities in the productive sector. The XX SEP was held with the aim of honoring professionals in the area of fishing engineering, with the theme “history and perspectives of fisheries engineering”. The program took place between December 9 and 13, 2019 and offered 4 mini-courses, 6 thematic tables, 9 lectures and 13 presentations of works in the oral presentation format. The SEP, mainly organized by the Group PET Pesca, provided the academic growth of students of the course and related areas, especially in the dialogue and integration of knowledge between the areas of scientific and professional opportunity in the fishing and aquaculture sector.
