• Abstract: With the increase in the volume of invasive and semi-invasive aesthetic procedures in recent years, there has also been an increase in complications, such as fibrosis. This article aims to assess the use of potassium paraaminobenzoate for the treatment of fibrosis resulting from aesthetic procedures, considering an off-label use. This work was carried out through a bibliographic study in reference repositories to draw an analogy since this treatment route for postoperative fibrosis is not used and there are no studies on the subject. However, we understand that this article will help to motivate other bibliographic studies and perhaps even preclinical studies.
