USO DO ÁLCOOL NA CONTEMPORANEIDADE: QUE LUGAR OCUPA, QUE VAZIO PREENCHE?
Compreende-se que o uso de substâncias entorpecentes tem relações históricas profundas e envolve aspectos culturais, religiosos, dentre outros. Sabe-se também que o abuso de substâncias psicoativas tem aumentado cada vez mais na contemporaneidade, podendo ser entendido como problema de políticas públicas, além de possibilitar questionamentos sobre: Que lugar o uso e a dependência ocupam? Que vazio preenchem? Assim, este estudo objetiva compreender os fatores etiológicos na dependência do álcool, correlacionando com o sentido da vida ou ausência de sentido. Além disso, busca-se destacar os possíveis danos causados pela dependência do álcool, a fim de promover reflexões que estimulem o desenvolvimento dos aspectos de prevenção e tratamentos para dependência do álcool. Para o alcance dos objetivos, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico, o que permitiu compreender o impacto de comportamentos utilizados para o preenchimento do possível “vazio existencial”, sendo um deles o uso do álcool, o que gera grandes prejuízos em diversas esferas da vida dos dependentes, e uma falsa sensação de bem-estar. Espera-se que o estudo permita reflexões e possibilidades futuras de maiores investigações e construções de conhecimentos neste campo.

Abstract:
It is known that the use of narcotic substances has deep historical relations as well as it involves cultural, religious aspects, among others. It is also known that the abuse of psychoactive substances has increasingly got higher at the contemporaneity, and it may be understood as a public policy issue, enabling questions about: What place do the use and dependence occupy? What vacuum do they fill up? Thus, this study aims at understanding the etiological factors at the alcohol dependence, correlating them to the meaning of life or meaningless. It also has sought to highlight the possible damage caused by the alcohol dependence, in order to promote reflections which, stimulate the development of prevention and treatment aspects. A bibliographical survey was carried out to reach the aims, which enabled understand the impact of behaviors used to fill the possible “existential void”, being the use of alcohol one of them, which generates great harm in several areas, and the false sensation of well-being. Although there is not some extensive literature, it may be expected that the study enables reflections and future possibilities for greater investigations and knowledge buildings in this field.
