UNA EXPERIENCIA EN INSTITUCIÓN DE EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR MEXICANA PARA EL SEGUIMIENTO DE PROYECTOS DE VINCULACIÓN Y TESIS DE POSGRADO DURANTE LA PANDEMIA DEL COVID-19
La pandemia del COVID-19 llevó a toda la sociedad a una nueva realidad, esto sucedió de igual manera en las instituciones de educación superior. La manera de hacer el seguimiento académico de los estudiantes del posgrado, en particular con sus proyectos de vinculación y de tesis también tuvo que cambiar. El objetivo de este trabajo es compartir la experiencia del Posgrado en Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Sonora en México, para llevar a cabo el seguimiento de los proyectos de vinculación y de tesis de sus estudiantes con apoyo de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación. Para llevar a cabo este seguimiento, se definió una estrategia que se dividió en dos sub-estrategias y para llevar a cabo su ejecución, se utilizaron diferentes herramientas tecnológicas como el teléfono convencional, correo electrónico, WhatsApp, OneDrive, Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft TEAMS, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Automate, entre otras. Como resultado, se pudo realizar el seguimiento académico de los proyectos de vinculación y de tesis de los estudiantes del posgrado de una manera adecuada, aunque no necesariamente la ideal. Entre las enseñanzas de esta experiencia, están lo fundamental que es el compromiso de los estudiantes, profesores, personal administrativo y coordinador del programa del posgrado, mientras que el uso de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones fueron las herramientas clave que facilitaron cumplir con éxito la estrategia.

ABSTRACT: The COVID-19 pandemic brought the entire society to a new reality, this happened in the same way in higher education institutions. The way of doing the academic follow-up of postgraduate students, in particular with their connection projects and thesis, also had to change. The objective of this work is to share the experience of the Postgraduate in Industrial Engineering of the Universidad de Sonora in Mexico, to carry out the follow-up of the linking projects and thesis of its students with the support of information and communication technologies. To carry out this follow-up, a strategy was defined that was divided into two sub-strategies and to carry out its execution, different technological tools were used such as the conventional telephone, email, WhatsApp, OneDrive, Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft TEAMS, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Automate, among others. As a result, it was possible to carry out the academic follow-up of the linking projects and thesis of the postgraduate students in an adequate, although not ideal, way. Among the lessons learned from this experience, there is the fundamental commitment of students, teachers, administrative staff and coordinator of the postgraduate program, while the use of information and communication technologies were the key tools that facilitated compliance with strategy successful.
