UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O DESEMPENHO SOCIOECONÔMICO DA REGIÃO IMEDIATA DE GUARAPUAVA/PR NO PERÍODO de 2010 a 2020
A delimitação de regiões permite que sejam realizados estudos possibilitando a melhor caracterização dos municípios que a compõem, auxiliando na identificação de desigualdades e potencialidades, facilitando no desenvolvimento de políticas públicas no intuito de melhorar a situação econômica e social da região. Assim, o presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar o desempenho socioeconômico dos municípios da Região Imediata de Guarapuava (RIG) no Paraná, a partir dos indicadores do Índice IPARDES de Desenvolvimento Municipal (IPDM) no período de 2010 a 2020. Para tanto, buscou-se caracterizar a estrutura produtiva e o perfil socioeconômico dos municípios da RIG neste período. Realizou-se uma pesquisa de natureza exploratória e descritiva com abordagem qualitativa, apoiada na pesquisa bibliográfica para revisão de literatura e em dados secundários do IPARDES e IBGE para coleta, tabulação e análise dos dados, utilizando a estatística descritiva na apresentação destes. Os resultados mostraram que a região é composta de municípios de pequeno porte e que possuem em sua maioria a agropecuária como atividade mais representativa no PIB. No período de estudo os municípios apresentaram avanços no desenvolvimento na área de saúde e de educação, mas não em relação ao emprego e a renda e, portanto, este foi o índice que mais pesou negativamente no desenvolvimento dos municípios da região, o que impõe a constatação de que a região apresenta baixo desempenho nos índices de emprego e renda e necessita de políticas públicas voltadas a atender esse propósito.

Abstract:
The delimitation of regions allows studies to be carried out, enabling a better characterization of the municipalities that comprise it, helping to identify inequalities and potentialities, facilitating the development of public policies in order to improve the economic and social situation of the region. Thus, the present study aimed to analyze the socioeconomic performance of the municipalities in the Immediate Region of Guarapuava (RIG) in Paraná, based on the indicators of the IPARDES Municipal Development Index (IPDM) in the period from 2010 to 2020. to characterize the productive structure and the socioeconomic profile of the municipalities of the RIG in this period. An exploratory and descriptive research with a qualitative approach was carried out, supported by bibliographical research for literature review and secondary data from IPARDES and IBGE for data collection, tabulation and analysis, using descriptive statistics in their presentation. The results showed that the region is composed of small municipalities and that mostly have agriculture as the most representative activity in the GDP. During the study period, the municipalities showed advances in development in the area of health and education, but not in terms of employment and income and, therefore, this was the index that weighed most negatively on the development of municipalities in the region, which imposes the finding that the region has low performance in terms of employment and income and needs public policies aimed at meeting this purpose.
