UMA ANÁLISE DOS FATORES DETERMINANTES DO DESEMPENHO DOS ALUNOS DOS CURSOS SUPERIORES EM ADMINISTRAÇÃO DO DISTRITO FEDERAL
A pesquisa teve por objetivo principal a identificação dos fatores determinantes do desempenho dos discentes dos cursos de Administração do Distrito Federal. Para tanto, fez-se o uso dos microdados do ENADE 2012 dos cursos de Administração do DF. A técnica de regressão múltipla foi utilizada para verificar se as características próprias do estudante, como aspectos pessoais e socioeconômicos, as características da instituição, a organização didático-pedagógico seriam variáveis significativas na explicação do resultado do ENADE 2012. Os resultados confirmaram as seguintes hipóteses: (H1) a renda familiar tem influência positiva no desempenho do aluno; (H2) a variável escolaridade dos pais está positivamente relacionada ao desempenho dos alunos; (H4) a qualificação do corpo docente está positivamente relacionada ao desempenho do aluno e (H5) a infraestrutura da instituição está positivamente relacionada ao desempenho do aluno. Diante dos resultados obtidos no estudo, foi possível constatar que a relação entre os resultados do ENADE e as respostas do questionário socioeconômico mostra claramente o peso do capital econômico, social e cultural das famílias e dos estudantes na aprendizagem e na sua trajetória acadêmica. Ao se considerar as condições das IES foi possível observar também que as unidades que possuem melhor infraestrutura e corpo docente mais qualificado tendem a proporcionar aos seus alunos melhores condições, consequentemente, melhor desempenho. A principal contribuição do estudo está em fornecer subsídios para a formulação de políticas públicas e privadas relacionadas à oferta desse nível de educação, ou seja, conhecer o que influencia o desempenho acadêmico pode auxiliar na elaboração de políticas públicas coerentes, dando subsídios para que o SINAES reestruture o sistema de avaliação, inserindo variáveis apontadas pela literatura e estudos empíricos como determinantes do desempenho acadêmico.

Abstract:
The research main objective was to identify the determinants of Management students performance of the Distrito Federal. For this purpose, it was used the ENADE 2012’s micro data related to Management students of DF. The multiple regression technique was used to verify the extent to which student's own characteristics, such as personal and socioeconomic aspects, as well as, institutions characteristics and the learning strategies could be significant variables in predicting the ENADE 2012 results. The regression results confirmed the following hypotheses: (H1) family income has a positive influence on student performance; (H2) the variable parents 'schooling is positively related to the students' performance; (H4) faculty qualification is positively related to student performance (H5) the institution's infrastructure is positively related to student performance. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the associations between the ENADE results and the responses of the socioeconomic questionnaire clearly shows the impact of economic, social and cultural capital of families and students in learning process and in their academic trajectory. Besides, when considering the institutions conditions, it was showned that colleges which have the best infrastructure and the most qualified teaching staff tend to provide better conditions to their students, consequently, they would performance better. Regarding the practical implications of the research, it is understood as the main contribution the provision of subsidies for the formulation of public and private policies related to the offer of this level of education, that is, knowing what influences academic performance can help in the elaboration of coherent public policies, giving subsidies for the SINAES to restructure the evaluation system, inserting variables pointed out in the literature and empirical studies as determinants of academic performance.
