UMA ANÁLISE ACERCA DA NECESSIDADE DE IMPLANTAR A DISCIPLINA EDUCAÇÃO FINANCEIRA PESSOAL NOS CURSOS DE FORMAÇÃO DA POLÍCIA MILITAR DE ALAGOAS
O presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar se seria relevante incluir a disciplina Educação Financeira Pessoal nos cursos de formação da Polícia Militar de Alagoas. Nesse contexto, a metodologia desta pesquisa se refere ao tipo qualiquantitativo, sendo realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental em livros e artigos da área de educação financeira e qualidade de vida, bem como foram realizadas análises dos dados estatísticos e dos resultados dos questionários elaborados por Lino (2019), os quais versam acerca do nível de conhecimento sobre educação financeira dos policiais militares (PMs) do estado de Alagoas, assim como trata sobre a relação que esses servidores estaduais têm com o consumo, endividamento, inadimplência e planejamento financeiro. Além disso, foi realizado, em parceria com a Universidade Federal de Alagoas, um ciclo de palestras sobre hábitos financeiros, o qual aconteceu no auditório do 3º Batalhão de Polícia Militar (3º BPM) e contou com a participação de 200 PMs pertencentes àquela Unidade Militar. Os dados coletados mostraram que é de suma importância a implantação da formação complementar em Educação Financeira Pessoal, tanto nos Cursos de Formação, como nos Cursos de Aperfeiçoamento, para que os policiais militares que estejam ingressando na corporação e ainda não tenham compromissos financeiros possam saber tomar melhores decisões na gestão financeira, mas também para que os policiais militares com mais tempo de serviço tenham a oportunidade de refletir sobre seus hábitos financeiros e possam melhorar sua qualidade de vida no tocante à saúde financeira, e assim, em ambos os casos, tenham possibilidade de tomar decisões financeiras acertadas.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze whether it would be relevant to include the subject Personal Financial Education in the training courses of the Military Police of Alagoas. In this context, the methodology of this research refers to the qualitative and quantitative type, with a bibliographical and documentary research being carried out in books and articles in the area of financial education and quality of life, as well as analyzes the statistical data and the results of the questionnaires prepared by Lino (2019), which deals with the level of knowledge about financial education of military police officers (PMs) in the state of Alagoas, as well as the relationship that these state servants have with consumption, indebtedness, non-payment and financial planning. In addition, in partnership with the Federal University of Alagoas, a cycle of lectures on financial habits was held, which took place in the auditorium of the 3rd Military Police Battalion (3rd BPM) and had the participation of 200 PMs belonging to that Military Unit. The collected data showed that it is extremely important to implement complementary training in Personal Financial Education, both in Training Courses and in Improvement Courses, so that military police officers who are joining the corporation and still do not have financial commitments can know how to take better decisions in financial management, but also that military police officers with more time of service have the opportunity to reflect on their financial habits and can improve their quality of life in terms of financial health, and thus, in both cases, have the possibility to make better financial decisions.
