TRAUMA RAQUIMEDULAR: CAPACITANDO A COMUNIDADE ACADÊMICA
INTRODUÇÃO: O Traumatismo Raquimedular compreende as lesões dos componentes da coluna vertebral em qualquer porção que contenha a medula vertebral. O acometimento é de alto impacto socioeconômico no país, afetando de forma significativa a qualidade de vida e capacidade funcional da população economicamente ativa. Metodologia: Esse estudo caracteriza-se como descritivo exploratório do tipo relato de experiência. Resulta de uma capacitação destinada a estudantes de graduação de instituições de ensino superior na zona urbana do município de Santarém- PA, realizadas nas dependências das universidades entre os dias 12, 13 e 14 de junho de 2019. RESULTADOS: O projeto se deu em 3 dias de palestras. Nelas foram abordados temas que condizem com prevenção contra o trauma raquimedular, qualidade de vida das pessoas que foram acometidas e direitos a saúde. Para verificar o aprendizado foram feitos questionamentos relativo ás questões abordadas na capacitação, antes e depois do evento, mostrando bom nível de aprendizado sobre questões relativas a prevenção e reabilitação da pessoa com lesão medular. CONCLUSÃO: Sendo assim, capacitar, portanto, demonstra uma atitude de suma importância na prevenção do Trauma medular, sobretudo em escala multiprofissional. Os dados evidenciaram que houve um bom nível de aprendizado com relação ao tema. Além disso, houve um bom aproveitamento da palestra, com um alto índice de satisfação de excelência. Logo, capacitar tanto a sociedade quanto a comunidade cientifica acerca de tal temática, torna-se de suma importância para a prevenção desse tipo de acidente.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Spinal trauma comprises lesions of the components of the spine in any portion that contains the spinal cord. Affection has a high socioeconomic impact in the country, significantly affecting the quality of life and functional capacity of the economically active population. Methodology: This study is characterized as an exploratory descriptive of the experience report type. It results from a training course aimed at undergraduate students from higher education institutions in the urban area of the municipality of Santarém-PA, held on the premises of the universities between June 12, 13 and 14, 2019. RESULTS: The project is gave in 3 days of lectures. They addressed topics that are consistent with prevention against spinal cord trauma, quality of life of people who were affected and rights to health. In order to verify learning, questions were asked regarding the issues addressed in the training, before and after the event, showing a good level of learning about issues related to the prevention and rehabilitation of the person with spinal cord injury. CONCLUSION: Therefore, training, therefore, demonstrates an attitude of paramount importance in the prevention of spinal trauma, especially on a multiprofessional scale. The data showed that there was a good level of learning in relation to the topic. In addition, there was a good use of the lecture, with a high level of satisfaction of excellence. Therefore, training both the society and the scientific community about such a topic, becomes of paramount importance for the prevention of this type of accident.
