TRANSFORMAÇÕES TÉCNICO-PRODUTIVAS NA PRAIA DA LONGA/RJ
Este trabalho tem como objetivo
estudar transformações técnico-produtivas
na Praia da Longa-RJ a partir das fábricas
de sardinhas criadas entre 1925 e 1950, e os
impactos no mercado de trabalho: análises
estruturais e trajetórias pessoais. Para tal
recorro literatura que discute a Ilha Grande e
entrevistas com moradores da comunidade. A
Praia Longa é uma praia tranquila que ainda
não tem interferência do turismo predatório,
não possuí restaurantes e nem pousadas. O
turismo praticado inclui mochileiros que passam
diariamente, já que esta na rota da volta da Ilha
Grande, e moradores que alugam as suas casas
nas férias e feriados. Mas este paraíso esconde
uma antiga disputa por terras entre os nativos
e um forte domínio de uma empresa privada.
Neste sentido, buscamos conhecer as fases
econômicas, as profissões e como o meio de vida
se confunde com o trabalho nesta comunidade
caiçara. Sendo a trajetória dos moradores o
ponto fundamental para as profissões que
escolhem ao longo da vida, muitos ofícios são
passados de geração em geração. Contudo
para alcançar sucesso acadêmico os jovens
têm que ir para o continente.

Abstract:
This work aims to study technicalproductive
transformations in Praia da Longa-
RJ from the sardines factories created between
1925 and 1950, and the impacts on the labor
market: structural analysis and personal
trajectories. To this end, we use the literature
that discusses Ilha Grande, and interviews
with community residents. Praia da Longa is
a fishing village on a quiet beach that still has
no interference from predatory tourism, no
restaurants, and no inns. The tourism practiced
includes backpackers who pass daily, since it
is on the route of the return of Ilha Grande, and
residents who rent their homes on vacations
and holidays. However, this paradise hides an
ancient dispute over lands between the natives
and a strong domain of a private enterprise.
In this sense, we seek to know the economic
phases, the professions and how the way of
life is confounded with the work in this Caiçara
community. As the residents ‘ trajectory is the
fundamental point for the professions they
choose throughout their lives, many crafts are
handed down from generation to generation.
However, to achieve academic success, young
people have to go to the continent.
