TRABALHO FORMAL DA AGROINDÚSTRIA DE AÇÚCAR E ÁLCOOL: REGIÃO CENTRO SUL, SÃO PAULO E BRASIL
Este artigo tem como objetivo caracterizar, comparativamente, o mercado de trabalho formal da agroindústria de açúcar e álcool na região Centro Sul, no estado de São Paulo e no Brasil entre 2006 a 2017, por meio dos seguintes indicadores: mão de obra empregada, remuneração média, diferenças de sexo e salário e educação dos trabalhadores. A metodologia de pesquisa é exploratória e quantitativa com base na coleta e análise tabular de dados secundários presentes no banco de dados da RAIS. Os resultados evidenciaram que, no estado de São Paulo, houve maior número de trabalhadores formais na agroindústria de açúcar do que na de álcool, sendo que, em ambas as agroindústrias, os trabalhadores, do estado de São Paulo são mais bem remunerados e mais qualificados se comparados com os trabalhadores brasileiros de forma geral. Além disso, a maioria dos trabalhadores é do gênero masculino, tanto no estado de São Paulo, Centro Sul e Brasil. A remuneração média anual vem aumentando independente do gênero, porém o salário da mulher ainda é menor que o do homem tanto na agroindústria do álcool quanto na de açúcar. Nota-se, também, que a remuneração média anual é maior no Estado de São Paulo do que no Brasil e na região Centro Sul como um todo. Portanto, o presente artigo contribui para retratar o mercado de trabalho formal das agroindústrias de açúcar e álcool, destacando as diferenças entre os seus segmentos e, também, procurando destacar as diferenças entre o Estado de São Paulo, a região Centro Sul e o Brasil. Além disso, o presente estudo motiva futuros trabalhos que retratem as dinâmicas distintas existentes dentro dos setores do agronegócio em relação ao mercado de trabalho e também em outras unidades da federação.

Abstract:
This article aims to characterize, comparatively, the formal labor market of the sugar and alcohol agribusiness in the Center South region, in the state of São Paulo and in Brazil from 2006 to 2017, through the following indicators: employed labor, remuneration average, gender and salary differences and workers' education. The research methodology is quantitative based on the collection and tabular analysis of secondary data present in the RAIS database. The results showed that, in the state of São Paulo, there were a greater number of formal workers in the sugar agroindustry than in the alcohol one, and in both agroindustries, workers in the state of São Paulo are better paid and more qualified compared to Brazilian workers in general. In addition, the majority of workers are male, both in the state of São Paulo,South Center and Brazil. The average annual remuneration has been increasing regardless of gender, but women's wages are still lower than men's in both the alcohol and sugar agro-industries. It is also noted that the average annual remuneration is higher in the State of São Paulo than in Brazil and in the South Center region as a whole. Therefore, this article contributes to portray the formal labor market of sugar and alcohol agro-industries, highlighting the differences between their segments, between the State of São Paulo, the South Center region and Brazil, motivating future works that portray the dynamics existing within the agribusiness sectors in relation to the labor market and also in other units of the federation
