Título: ANÁLISE DO PROGRAMA DE NIVELAMENTO NO DESEMPENHO ACADÊMICO DE ALUNOS DO CURSO DE ENGENHARIA CIVIL
No curso de Engenharia Civil,
grandes são os empecilhos que aparecem
durante a graduação. Dentre eles, se destacam
as dificuldades dos discentes no que se
refere às disciplinas voltadas para a análise e
mecânica das estruturas. Uma das alternativas
para melhoraria do ensino-aprendizagem
oferecido pelas universidades são as monitorias
e nivelamentos. Neste trabalho verificou-se a
relação dos monitores com seus orientadores
e com os alunos, e estudou-se a relevância
dos programas de Monitoria e Nivelamentos
ofertados pela Universidade Potiguar, em
consonância com o Programa de Educação
Tutorial (PET) de Engenharia Civil nas
disciplinas de Estruturas de Concreto Armado I,
Estruturas de Concreto Armado II e Estruturas
Metálicas e de Madeira. A metodologia da
pesquisa apresenta caráter exploratório
através de um levantamento qualitativo. Para a
coleta dos dados utilizou-se como ferramenta
a aplicação de formulários para alunos que
tiveram e/ou estão tendo contato com esse
programa. Constatou-se a importância da
monitoria e nivelamento, principalmente no que
se diz respeito à absorção do conteúdo dessas
disciplinas.

Abstract:
In the course of civil engineering,
great are the obstacles that appear during
the graduation. Among them, the difficulties
of the students in the disciplines focused on
the analysis and mechanics of the structures
stand out. One of the alternatives for improving
teaching and learning offered by universities is
the monitoring and leveling. In this study, the relationship of the monitors with their supervisors and with the students was verified
and the relevance of the monitoring and leveling programs offered by the Universidade
Potiguar was studied, in agreement with the civil engineering Programa de Educação
Tutorial (PET) in the disciplines of structures of reinforced concrete I, structures of
reinforced concrete II and structures of metallic and wood. The research methodology
has an exploratory character through a qualitative survey. For data collection, the
application of forms for students who had and / or are having contact with this program
was used as a tool. It was verified the importance of monitoring and leveling, mainly
regarding the absorption of the content of these disciplines
