TERRITÓRIOS POTIGUARES INDUZIDOS PELAS POLÍTICAS DE DESENVOLVIMENTO TERRITORIAL RURAL: UMA DISCUSSÃO DOS RESULTADOS SOCIOECONÔMICOS
Este trabalho busca investigar se
o Pronat e o PTC têm contribuído para reduzir
as desigualdades territoriais do Rio Grande do
Norte. Assim, tem-se como objetivo geral verificar
se a indução governamental para a constituição
de arranjos socioprodutivos em territórios
rurais no estado tem sido bem sucedida, no
sentido de reduzir as assimetrias regionais,
em termos socioeconômicos, propiciando o
desenvolvimento territorial com inclusão social e
econômica. Os dados secundários foram obtidos
a partir do Atlas de Desenvolvimento Humano,
do Portal Transparência e do Sistema IBGE de
Recuperação Automática (SIDRA/IBGE), o que
permitiu, por meio de tabulações e de média
ponderada, calcular informações territoriais
para análise. Os resultados evidenciam que,
em termos sociais, nos territórios mais pobres
ocorreu lenta redução de assimetrias regionais,
entretanto, o desempenho econômico ficou
aquém da media estadual. Conclui-se, portanto,
que estes territórios reclamam maior atenção
quanto aos investimentos realizados.

Abstract:
This paper seeks to investigate
whether the Pronat and PTC have contributed
to reduce territorial inequalities of Rio Grande
do Norte. Thus, it has been designed to ensure
that the General Government induction for the
constitution of socioproductives arrangements
in rural areas in the State have been successful,
in the sense of reducing regional asymmetries,
in socioeconomic terms, allowing the territorial
development with social and economic
inclusion. The secondary data were obtained
from the Atlas de Desenvolvimento Humano,
the Portal Transparência and of the Sistema
IBGE de Recuperação Automática (SIDRA/
IBGE), allowing, by means of tabs and weighted
average, calculate territorial information for
analysis. The results show that, in social terms, in
the poorest territories slow reduction of regional
imbalances occurred, however, the economic
performance fell short of the State media. It is
therefore concluded that these territories are
demanding greater attention to investments
made.
