Terapia por pressão negativa: uma inovação tecnológica no tratamento de feridas complexas.
Objetivo: Descrever sobre a aplicabilidade e benefícios bem como as indicações e contraindicações da Terapia por Pressão Negativa no tratamento de feridas complexas. Método: Trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa da literatura sobre o tratamento de feridas complexas com a Terapia por Pressão Negativa. Resultados: As feridas complexas representam um grande problema pela dificuldade de cicatrização, tempo prolongado de internação e promove um alto custo pelo tratamento. Além disso, a terapia estimula a granulação e diminui o tempo de internação. Conclusão: Os resultados mostram a evidência crescente dos benefícios que a terapia traz como adjuvante no tratamento de Feridas Complexas, favorece saúde e bem-estar e melhor qualidade de vida.

Abstract:
Objective: To describe the applicability and benefits as well as indications and contraindications of Negative Pressure Therapy in the treatment of complex wounds. Method: This is an Integrative Review of the literature on the treatment of complex wounds with Negative Pressure Therapy. Results: Complex wounds represent a major problem due to the difficulty of healing, prolonged hospitalization time and a high cost for the treatment, the therapy stimulates the granulation, shorten the hospitalization time. Conclusion: The results show the increasing evidence of the benefits that the therapy provides as adjuvant in the treatment of Complex Wounds, favors health and well being and better quality of life.
