Abstract: The present work focuses on injuries to professional soccer players and Occupational Therapy as part of this multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation. The aim of this work is to understand, through the national and international literature, the role of the occupational therapist in professional rehabilitation with a focus on the labor disruption of soccer players. This is an integrative literature review. The databases used were PubMed, Scielo, Scopus, Web of Science, Bireme-Lilacs and the online collections of specific Occupational Therapy journals - Revista de Terapia Ocupacional da Universidade de São Paulo, Revista Interinstitucional Brasileira de Terapia Ocupacional and Cadernos Brasileiros de Terapia Ocupacional da UFSCar. Two publications were selected to make up the corpus of the research. The data analysis revealed the benefits of occupational therapy in non-surgical intervention for upper limb injuries and in sports adaptation to minimize injuries to soccer players. By analyzing the contributions found in the literature, it is possible to understand what role occupational therapists can play in a multidisciplinary team in the care of soccer players. Finally, with all the information and objectives achieved, it was possible to transpose the knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation to soccer players. There is a need for more research on this subject
