TEORIA DE NICHO E NEUTRA EXPLICAM A COMPOSIÇÃO DE HETEROPTERA (INSECTA)?
As principais teorias que explicam os padrões de distribuição das espécies são a Teoria de Nicho e a Teoria Neutra. O objetivo do trabalho foi verificar se é a variação espacial, ou se são as variáveis ambientais ou ainda a interação entre ambas que são responsáveis pela estruturação da comunidade de Heteroptera aquático num reservatório localizado na Amazônia. Os Heteroptera foram coletados com um coador de mão, armazenados em sacos plásticos com álcool 93%, e levados para o laboratório para a triagem e identificação dos gêneros. Foi realizada a coleta das variáveis ambientais, na superfície, no meio e no fundo da coluna d’água em 27 pontos com dois metros de distância entre eles. As variáveis ambientais explicam 38% da estruturação da composição de Heteroptera. Logo podemos concluir que a composição de Heteroptera aquático no local estudado é regida principalmente pela teoria do nicho.

Abstract:
The main theories that explain species distribution patterns are the Niche Theory and the Neutral Theory. The objective of this work was to verify whether it is the spatial variation, whether it is the environmental variables or the interaction between both in the structuring of the Heteroptera community in a reservoir. The Heteroptera were collected with a hand strainer, stored in plastic bags with 93% alcohol, and taken to the auditorium for sorting and species identification. Environmental variables were collected on the surface, in the middle and at the bottom of the water column at 27 points with a distance of two meters between them. Environmental variables explain 38% of the structuring of the composition of Heteroptera. Therefore, we can conclude that the composition of aquatic Heteroptera in the studied site is mainly governed by the niche theory.
