Abstract: The referred and present Scientific Article intends to carry out a given weighting by making the Portuguese Language teacher be placed in the different pedagogical approaches: Traditional, Cognitivist, Behaviorist, Humanist and Socio-Cultural, a position that aims to reintegrate and make sure that there is a certain knowledge that will influence the aforementioned approaches that will have an undoubted contribution in the teaching-learning process and much more more in the well-founded practices of these authoritative teachers, this will promote a certain reflection of which they will act directly on the Pedagogical Trends. These trends, even though they are diversified, leave a support, thus bringing a form of prognosis so that there is competitiveness and also absorbs the highest degree of possibility, making up the knowledge acquired by it and so that one has the perceptive awareness of what is being presented, that is, of what was research in the classroom by each of the teachers interviewed.
