Abstract: Brazil is currently undergoing several developments in technology and sustainability, because through Civil Engineering, it has been promoting sustainable means through existing raw materials such as plastic and rampant consumption of oil and its derivatives. Plastic is a material found in abundance in our society because it contains several uses, in addition, as garbage, it is also improperly discarded, thus causing an overload on the environment. Along with the existing evolution, new ways to reuse waste are studied and applied through the reuse of plastic in various sectors of civil construction, thus helping to reduce the impact on the environment and the economy. Thus, using plastic recycling, it is possible to transform the garbage that would be discarded in the wrong way in nature into sustainable tiles, thus reducing the impacts that these plastics could cause on our ecosystem. This study will seek to produce a tile made from recycled plastic HDPE as a raw material, which obtains results similar or superior to those of tiles that we use in our daily lives, following current standards
