Abstract: In context of the COVID-19 pandemic, there were great changes in education, especially in teaching and learning. It had to change the face-to-face classes to virtual classes using virtual technology such e-learning. The methodology applied in this research is descriptive, correlational and transversal. We worked with 265 students, determined through the simple random process, as well as the stratification in the three professional engineering schools into the study population, whom an online survey was applied. We can see from the results that there is a significant relationship between the use of virtual technology and the learning of the students of the José María Arguedas National University in times of COVID-19.
