TECNOLOGIA DA WEB CONFERÊNCIA – CAUSAS DA BAIXA AUDIÊNCIA: UM ESTUDO EMPÍRICO
O propósito central desse trabalho foi encontrar critérios que justifiquem a baixa audiência nas webs conferências, levando em consideração a percepção de estudantes e professores. A natureza dessa pesquisa foi exploratória, qualitativa, com amostra selecionada por conveniência e homogênea, composta por docentes e estudantes ligados ao EaD (Ensino a Distância) que tem em sua didática a inserção de webs conferências. A coleta de dados deu-se por meio de entrevistas de grupos de foco, no qual a técnica de análise empregada foi à análise de conteúdo, com caráter indutivo. O resultado obtido foi a geração de categorias que ajudaram a compreender os critérios que tem levado a redução da audiência nas webs conferências. Como achados da pesquisa destaca-se itens que estão em conformidade tanto na visão dos docentes quanto dos estudantes, são eles: horários mais flexíveis, professor precisa deter conhecimento da disciplina, professor precisa deter conhecimento dos recursos multimidiáticos. Assim, por meio do modelo teórico sugerido nesse trabalho voltado par o aumento da participação das webs quanto a capacitação docente e atendendo as categorias aqui emergidas espera-se o aumento significativo das webs conferência uma ferramenta tão fugaz para o ensino à distância.

Abstract:
The main purpose of this work was to find criteria that justify the low audience in the web´s conferences, taking into account the perception of students and teachers. The nature of this research was exploratory, qualitative, with a sample selected for convenience and homogeneous, composed of professors and students connected to Distance Education (Distance Education), which includes in its didactics the insertion of web´s conferences. Data collection took place through interviews with focus groups, in which the analysis technique employed was content analysis, with an inductive character. The result obtained was the generation of categories that helped to understand the criteria that have led to the reduction of the audience in the web´s conferences. As the research findings highlight items that are in conformity both in the view of teachers and students, they are: more flexible schedules, teacher needs to have knowledge of the discipline, teacher needs to have knowledge of multimedia resources. Thus, by means of the theoretical model suggested in this work aimed at increasing the participation of web´s in terms of teacher training and attending the categories that emerged here, the significant increase in web´s conferences is expected to be such a fleeting tool for distance learning.
