SOFTWARES PARA GERENCIAMENTO LABORATORIAL: O USO DA TECNOLOGIA A FAVOR DA CIÊNCIA E DA COMUNIDADE
O bom funcionamento de um laboratório de análises clínicas exige que todas as etapas na gestão laboratorial sejam eficientes, rápidas e seguras, desde a chegada do paciente até a emissão e entrega de laudos. Para que isso aconteça, é necessário que todos esses processos estejam unificados em um bom sistema de gestão, contribuindo para a minimização de erros e gastos desnecessários em toda a rotina laboratorial. Objetivou-se nesse trabalho realizar uma caracterização das principais ferramentas e funcionalidades encontradas nos softwares para gerenciamento laboratorial de análises clínicas disponíveis no mercado atualmente. Realizou-se uma revisão e levantamento de informações em vários sites comerciais disponíveis na internet, sendo selecionados quinze softwares para avaliação. A partir de uma análise dos mesmos, caracterizou-se os recursos disponíveis nos diferentes sistemas de gerenciamento laboratorial, definindo quais são os recursos básicos, ou seja, fundamentais para a utilização de um software laboratorial, bem como os recursos adicionais, para complementar as ferramentas básicas disponibilizadas e oferecer maior praticidade. Todas funções apresentadas estão relacionadas a caracterização de um bom sistema de gerenciamento laboratorial e devem ser analisadas para a escolha adequada do melhor software de acordo com as necessidades. O software escolhido deve integrar as ferramentas indispensáveis para oferecer o suporte técnico necessário, a fim de assegurar um bom desempenho de todos os processos laboratoriais. Vale ressaltar que o uso da tecnologia deve ser sempre aliado às boas práticas de laboratório para otimização dos recursos pessoais e materiais, obtendo-se bons resultados de forma ética.

Abstract:
The proper functioning of a clinical laboratory requires that all stages in laboratory management be efficient, fast and safe, from the arrival of the patient to the issuance and delivery of reports. For that to happen, it is necessary that all these processes are unified in a good management system, contributing to the minimization of errors and unnecessary expenses throughout the laboratory routine. The objective of this work was to characterize the main tools and functionalities found in laboratory management software for clinical analysis currently available in the market. A review and survey of information ware made in several commercial websites available on the Internet and fifteen software was selected for evaluation. Besedon the analysis of these software, the resources available in the different laboratory management systems were characterized, defining which are the basic resources, in other words, the fundamental resources for the use of laboratory software, as well as the additional resources to complement the tools available and offer a greater practicality. All the functions presented are related to the characterization of a good laboratory management system and should be analyzed for an appropriate choice of the best software according to the needs. The chosen software must integrate the indispensable tools to offer the necessary technical support in order to ensure a good performance of all the laboratory processes. It is worth mentioning that the use of technology must always be combined with good laboratory practices, optimizing the personal and material resources, obtaining good results in an ethical way.
