Abstract: This paper aimed to describe the design and construction of a didactic prototype on off-grid, solar and wind hybrid energy. The didactic product has local and remote supervision systems for the production of generated energy. Initially, a review of the analogous prototypes was carried out, then the electrical and structural design for a 0.55kV generation plant was prepared. The steps used were: the physical assembly of the product, the installation of sensors at strategic points, development and validation of supervision and finally the experimental tests. In parallel with the characterization of the product, experimental guides were made to support classes and future training. Three local and remote supervision systems were developed, one using the Elipse SCADA DEMO software, another using the PLX-DAQ and the last one was an application for mobile devices, all using the Arduino UNO R3 board as acquisition/control hardware. The differential of the work in: (1) local and remote supervision of energy production; (2) low energy consumption by the components used; (3) didactic character. The prototype carried out measurements uninterruptedly for 8 days, with sampling intervals of 5 in 5 minutes. The energy production monitoring system proved to be reliable and efficient in measurements with a latency rate of 2s, as well as sending alert messages in case of malfunction.
