SÍNDROME DE TOURETTE E SUAS IMPLICAÇÕES NA ATUALIDADE
A Síndrome de Tourette (ST) ainda é uma patologia neuropsiquiátrica que apresenta grandes dificuldades por parte dos profissionais médicos em realizar um diagnóstico preciso levando a riscos acentuados de falsos diagnósticos, contribuindo para que tratamentos mais efetivos não possam ser utilizados. Diante disso este artigo se propõem a analisar através de pesquisa bibliográfica realizada em banco de dados SCIELO, PUBMED e MEDLINE, pesquisas publicadas entre os anos de 2005 e 2018 nos idiomas inglês e português que pudessem ajudar na melhor compreensão das condutas médicas utilizadas diante deste agravo. Foram excluídos da pesquisa artigos fora da data estipulada, em idiomas que não fossem os citados e que não abordassem o diagnóstico e as intervenções terapêuticas relacionadas à Síndrome de Tourette. A pesquisa concluiu a necessidade evidente de um maior aprofundamento sobre a clínica e tratamento da síndrome de Tourette.

Abstract:
Tourette’s syndrome is still a neuropsychiatric pathology that presents great difficulties on the part of the medical professionals to carry out a precise diagnosis leading to the accentuated risks of false diagnoses, contributing to that more effective treatments can not be used. Therefore, this article proposes to analyze through a bibliographic research carried out in SCIELO, PUBMED and BIREME database, surveys published between the years 2005 and 2018 in the English and Portuguese languages that could help in better understanding the medical conducts used in this case. Out-of-date articles were excluded from the study in languages other than those cited and did not address the diagnosis and therapeutic interventions related to Tourette Syndrome. The research concluded the evident need for further study on the clinic and treatment of Tourette’s syndrome.
