SENADO FEDERAL: SEMELHANÇAS E DIFERENÇAS DO FEDERALISMO NORTEAMERICANO
O objeto do presente estudo será
analisar as contribuições do federalismo
americano junto ao Poder Legislativo, na
instituição política do Senado em contraste com
o brasileiro, tendo como principal referência
dos artigos federalistas reunidos na obra “O
Federalista” publicada entre os anos de 1787 e
1788, ressaltando as semelhanças e diferenças
que levaram o Brasil a se tornar uma federação
denominada por muitos autores de sui generis

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to
analyze the contributions of American federalism
to the Legislative Power, in the political institution
of the Senate in contrast to the Brazilian,
having as main reference the federalist articles
gathered in the work “The Federalist” published
between the years 1787 and 1788, highlighting
the similarities and differences that led Brazil
to become a federation named by many sui
generis authors.
