SAÚDE MENTAL DE MILITARES NA FRONTEIRA BRASIL-BOLÍVIA: UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA
Os militares que trabalham na região fronteiriça Brasil-Bolívia vivenciam pressão constante de treinamento, tensão e sobrecarga ao atuarem em diferentes operações de Segurança Nacional, além das peculiaridades institucionais das organizações militares. Este artigo objetiva identificar a produção científica sobre saúde mental de militares na fronteira Brasil-Bolívia. Por meio de uma revisão integrativa na literatura utilizando os descritores: “saúde mental” e “militares” na base de dados SciELO, sem corte temporal. Sete pesquisas encontradas foram categorizadas de acordo com os coletivos de trabalho. Os estudos indicaram a ocorrência de transtorno mental comum, transtorno mental e comportamental, doenças como etilismo, tabagismo e presenteísmo. Salienta-se que a escassez de estudos sobre as vivências subjetivas no trabalho das forças armadas que atuam nas fronteiras do país demonstra a urgência da realização de mais pesquisas que possam contribuir para o desenvolvimento de uma assistência psicológica e manutenção da qualidade de vida desses profissionais.

Abstract:
Military personnel working in the Brazilian-Bolivian border region experience constant pressure from training, stress and overload in different National Security operations, beyond the institutional peculiarities of military organizations. This article aims to identify the scientific production on mental health of military personnel on the Brazil-Bolivia border. Through an integrative review in the literature using the descriptors: “mental health” and “military”; in the SciELO database, without time cut. Seven researches found were categorized according to the collective work. The studies indicated the occurrence of common mental disorder, mental and behavioural disorder, illnesses such as alcoholism, smoking, and present-day smoking. It should be stressed that the lack of studies on subjective experiences in the work of the armed forces operating on the country’s borders demonstrates the urgency of carrying out more research that can contribute to the development of and maintenance of the quality of life of these professionals.
