ROLAND BARTHES: ENTRE O EXERCÍCIO CRÍTICO E A LITERATURA, ENTRE A FIGURA E O PERSONAGEM
Roland Barthes foi um estudioso e crítico francês muito conhecido por seus trabalhos no campo do Estruturalismo e Pós-Estruturalismo. Porém, num de seus últimos escritos, Fragmentos do discurso amoroso (1977), o autor choca o público com um texto que provoca os limites do ensaio, chamando a atenção para a figura enquanto entidade textual. Desse modo, tomamos este último aspecto como chave de leitura para analisar como os seres textuais – personagem e figura – podem evocar elementos que colocam em xeque a própria ideia de literatura.

Abstract:
Roland Barthes was a French scholar and critic known for his work in the field of Structuralism and Poststructuralism. However, in one of his last writings, Lover's Discourse: Fragments (1977), the author shocks the public with a text that provokes the limits of the essay, drawing attention to the figure as a textual entity. Thus, we take this last aspect as a key reading to analyze how textual beings – character and figure – can evoke elements whose put at stake the idea of literature.
