ROBÓTICA SUSTENTÁVEL: UMA VISÃO DE SUSTENTABILIDADE DOS ESTUDANTES DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL DA AMAZÔNIA EM ATIVIDADES DE ROBÓTICA EDUCACIONAL
O presente estudo apresenta o projeto extensionista “Robótica Sustentável na Educação: Reciclando e Aprendendo”, que objetivou contribuir na formação de uma visão crítica a grupos de estudantes do ensino fundamental de uma escola na mesorregião do Baixo Rio Amazonas no Oeste do Estado do Pará, focando no problema de impactos ambientais causados pelo lixo eletrônico e o planejamento de seu recondicionamento com a prática da robótica. Por meio de oficinas com reuso dos itens eletrônicos que são descartados pelas pessoas, foi possível estimular os estudantes a encontrarem soluções a partir de material reciclado, a maior parte destes foi captada através de doações. Os resultados expõem a necessidade de uma discussão sobre sustentabilidade a fim de proporcionar aos alunos do ensino público, atividades pedagógicas que incentivem o aprofundamento temático no ensino e aprendizagem e ainda ressaltar a importância da reutilização de lixo eletrônico de forma a observar o rico material que é descartado na área da computação.

Abstract:
The present study presents the extension project “Sustainable Robotics in Education: Recycling and Learning”, which aimed to contribute to the formation of a critical vision for groups of elementary school students in a school in the mesoregion of the Lower Amazon River in the West of the State of Pará, focusing on the problem of environmental impacts caused by electronic waste and the planning of its reconditioning with the practice of robotics. Through workshops with the reuse of electronic items that are discarded by people, it was possible to encourage students to find solutions from recycled material, most of which were captured through donations. The results expose the need for a discussion on sustainability in order to provide public school students with pedagogical activities that encourage thematic deepening in teaching and learning and also emphasize the importance of reusing electronic waste in order to observe the rich material that is discarded in the area of computing.
