Abstract: In real life, solving problems involving various phenomena is difficult to solve analytically, this includes phenomena involving fluids. Among them, we can mention a hydroelectric plant, or even in our homes with basic sanitation, but unfortunately several phenomena that include liquids or gases do not have an analytical solution, making it necessary to search for numerical solutions, which will give an approximate result. The present work aims to present some numerical methods that can be used to find approximate solutions for equations involving fluids. The methods that will be presented are the Euler method, the finite difference method and the finite element method, which are widely used methods for solving problems involving fluid mechanics.
