REVISÃO DE LITERATURA: TERMORREGULAÇÃO EM SUÍNOS DAS LINHAGENS AGROCERES E DAN BREED
A linhagem AGROCERES Incorpora à sua progênie excelente eficiência de crescimento – conversão alimentar, ganho de peso e qualidade de carcaça. Também apresenta excepcional potencial para produção de carne com ótimas características de pH, cor e capacidade de retenção de água. É o reprodutor mais utilizado em todo o mundo. A linhagem DAN BREED é reconhecida por sua excepcional prolificidade, maior desempenho e longevidade em gestação coletiva e eficiência comprovada em conversão alimentar. Além da maior docilidade e a grande facilidade de manejo. São essas características, que levaram a DAN BREED Genética Suína a ultrapassar o patamar de 39 desmamado/fêmea/ano, mantendo o foco na qualidade e no desempenho dos animais. Esse trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o comportamento termorregulatório de suínos Agroceres e Dan Breed, sob condições ambientais da cidade de Bom Jesus do estado do Piauí, verificando a influência da época do ano e do horário do dia sobre alguns parâmetros fisiológicos dos animais, em dois períodos climáticos, sendo estes: PC1 (período climático 1) quente e seco e o PC2 (período climático 2) ameno e úmido, representados respectivamente pelos meses de outubro-novembro (PC1) e fevereiro-março (PC2), avaliando os parâmetros fisiológicos frequência respiratória (FR) e temperatura retal (TR) em diferentes horários do dia.

Abstract:
The AGROCERES strain incorporates excellent growth efficiency into its progeny – feed conversion, weight gain and carcass quality. It also has exceptional potential for meat production with excellent pH, color and water holding capacity. It is the most used player in the world. The DAN BREED strain is recognized for its exceptional prolificity, higher performance and longevity in collective gestation and proven efficiency in feed conversion. In addition to greater docility and great ease of handling. It is these characteristics that led DAN BREED Genética Swine to exceed the threshold of 39 weaned/female/year, keeping the focus on the quality and performance of the animals. This work aimed to evaluate the thermoregulatory behavior of Agroceres and Dan Breed pigs, under environmental conditions in the city of Bom Jesus in the state of Piauí, verifying the influence of the time of year and time of day on some physiological parameters of the animals, in two climatic periods, namely: PC1 (climatic period 1) hot and dry and PC2 (climatic period 2) mild and humid, represented respectively by the months of October-November (PC1) and February-March (PC2), evaluating the physiological parameters respiratory rate (RR) and rectal temperature (TR) at different times of the day.
