RETOS POS-PANDEMIA HACIA LA CONTINUIDAD PEDAGÓGICA EN LAS UNIVERSIDADES DE AMÉRICA LATINA Y EL CARIBE
La pandemia provocada por el COVID-19 ha provocado grandes cambios y desafíos en cada rincón del mundo y en todos los sectores de la sociedad. Uno de ellos, sin duda fue el educativo, al verse fuertemente afectado cuando se dictó el distanciamiento social en todos los niveles. El objetivo de esta comunicación es identificar la similitud entre los retos que debían enfrentar las universidades desde la percepción de los docentes en el 2019 y los retos que enfrentan las universidades de AL y El Caribe para dar continuidad pedagógica después de la pandemia desde la perspectiva de la UNESCO. Se utilizó una metodología de corte cualitativo-descriptivo a través del método de revisión documental y un análisis comparativo de dos estudios que refieren a los retos que enfrentan las universidades antes y después de la pandemia. Los resultados arrojan cuatro grandes retos a los que se enfrentan las universidades, que refieren a: la actualización y rediseño de los programas académicos que impacten en la vinculación de la universidad con la empresa y la investigación, la inclusión de la modalidad virtual e hibrida, así como la flexibilidad educativa a través del aprendizaje ubicuo.

Abstract:
The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has caused big changes and challenges in every corner of the world and in all sectors of society. One of them was undoubtedly educational, as it was strongly affected when social distancing was imposed at all levels. From the perspective of UNESCO, the purpose of this communication is to identify the similarity between the challenges that universities had to face from the perception of teachers in 2019 and the challenges that universities in Latin America and the Caribbean face to provide pedagogical continuity after the pandemic. A qualitative-descriptive methodology was used through the documentary review method and a comparative analysis of two studies that refer to the challenges faced by universities before and after the pandemic. The outcomes show four big challenges that universities face, which refer to: The updating and redesign of academic programs that have an impact on the association between the university and business and research, the inclusion of virtual and hybrid modalities, as well as educational flexibility through ubiquitous learning.
