RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL EMPRESARIAL DE LAS INSTITUCIONES DE SALUD CHILENAS.
Las instituciones prestadoras del servicio de salud contribuyen a agravar los
problemas de salud ambiental al tiempo que intenta afrontar sus
consecuencias, que afectan a la salud de población y la sociedad a través de la
Responsabilidad Social Empresarial. El objetivo de esta investigación fue
describir las medidas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial de las
instituciones sanitarias chilenas, con base en la Agenda Global para Hospitales
Verdes y Saludables. Se utilizo una metodología cuantitativa, no experimental,
transversal de alcance descriptivo a través de una revisión documental con
base en la información entregada por la Red Global de Hospitales Verdes y
Saludables. Para el análisis se realizó una base de datos con la información
que declaran las 222 instituciones de salud chilenas en la página con relación a
la adopción de los 10 objetivos sustentables propuestos por esta, a saber;
liderazgo, sustancias químicas, residuos, energía, agua, transporte, alimentos,
productos farmacéuticos, edificios, compras. La información se analizó con el
programa Excel de Microsoft. Los resultados del análisis sobre los objetivos de
la Red Global de Hospitales Verdes y Saludables que presentaron las
instituciones de salud chilenas fueron: energía (30,1%%), residuos (25,9%),
liderazgo (18,3%), agua, (15,68%), sustancias químicas (3,2%), productos
farmacéuticos (2,3%) compras (1,55%) transporte (1,08%), alimentos (1,08%) y
edificios (0,6%). Como conclusión, los principales objetivos de la Agenda Verde
para Hospitales Saludables que se cumplen son los que están regulados en
Chile, estos reflejan el 90% del desarrollo de los principios, los cuales son;
energía, residuos, liderazgo y agua, sin embargo, se debe seguir trabajando
para instaurar una cultura de responsabilidad social empresarial en las
instituciones del sector salud en Chile.

Abstract:
Health institutions contribute to aggravate environmental health problems while
trying to face their consequences, which affect the health of the population and
society through Corporate Social Responsibility. The objective of this research
was describing the Corporate Social Responsibility measures of Chilean health
institutions, based on the Global Agenda for Green and Healthy Hospitals, A
methodology was used quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional research
with a descriptive scope through a documentary review based on the
information provided by the Global Network of Green and Healthy Hospitals. For
the analysis, a database was made with the information declared by the 222
Chilean health institutions on the page in relation to the adoption of the 10
sustainable objectives proposed by it, namely, leadership, chemicals, waste,
energy, water, transportation, food, pharmaceuticals, buildings, shopping. The
information was analyzed with the Microsoft Excel program. The results of the
analysis the objectives of the Global Network of Green and Healthy Hospitals
presented by Chilean health institutions were energy (30.1 %%), waste (25.9%),
leadership (18.3%), water, (15.68%), chemical substances (3.2%),31
pharmaceutical products (2.3%) purchases (1.55) transportation (1.08%), food
(1.08%) and buildings (0.6 %). As a conclusion the main objectives of the Green
Agenda for Healthy Hospitals that are met are those that are regulated in Chile,
these reflect 90% of the development of the principles which are, energy, waste,
leadership and water, however, work must continue to establish a culture of
corporate social responsibility in the institutions of the health sector in Chile.
