Abstract: A fuel station is a location where the sale of flammable products takes place, leading to inherent risks. Therefore, occupational health and safety in these areas must be taken seriously due to the high risk of accidents. Improper generation and disposal of hazardous solid waste from the business are also significant concerns from both a worker health and safety perspective and an environmental standpoint, potentially causing various environmental liabilities. This study, through literature review, provided information on possible hazardous and non-hazardous solid wastes generated at fuel stations. It emphasized the importance of environmental management as a preventive measure, highlighting the need for implementing a Solid Waste Management Plan. This plan aims to reduce waste generation and ensure proper storage and disposal of these residues. The research aimed to underscore the critical role of solid waste management and identify the necessity of environmental management in fuel stations. The results demonstrated the importance for entrepreneurs to invest in raising awareness among employees and stakeholders, aiming to minimize the environmental impact and ensure the health and safety of everyone, coupled with the application of environmental education.
