RESENHA CRÍTICA SOBRE O DOCUMENTÁRIO - A INDÚSTRIA DO ALUMÍNIO – A FLORESTA VIRADA EM PÓ
O território brasileiro possui rica diversidade de minérios, compondo o conjunto dos maiores países exploradores do planeta. E na Região Norte é o local onde se encontra a maior jazida de bauxita do país, matéria prima do alumínio que serve para a indústria da transformação para produção de bens necessários para a vida moderna. Acontece que embora a sua arrecadação alcance cifras elevadas, não se constata a retribuição social equivalente, o que revela a ausência de implementação de políticas públicas nas áreas sociais, na educação, saúde, segurança, moradia, emprego, renda, saneamento, transporte, meio ambiente e indústria. Desse modo, compreende–se que o Capital não pode subjugar a sociedade local em razão exclusivamente do lucro, uma vez que a extração mineral na escala atual, além dos valores significativos dela auferidos, permitem, efetivamente, que tais empreendimentos criem conjuntamente programas institucionais que fomentem nas comunidades que vivem ao derredor delas políticas sociais condizentes com a realidade local e que, diante disso, possam proporcionar melhor qualidade de vida e justa retribuição de renda para que aquelas pessoas que ali vivem se sintam partícipes de uma sociedade verdadeiramente civilizada, humanizada, conectada, plena e feliz. Portanto, esse artigo tem a finalidade de apresentar resenha crítica sobre o documentário “A Indústria do Alumínio – A floresta virada em pó”, abordando os aspectos sociais, econômicos e ambientais.

Abstract:
The Brazilian territory has a rich diversity of ores, making up the group of the largest exploration countries on the planet. And in the North Region, it is the place where the largest deposit of bauxite in the country is found, raw material for aluminum used in the processing industry to produce goods necessary for modern life. It turns out that although its revenue reaches high figures, there is no equivalent social retribution, which reveals the lack of implementation of public policies in the social areas, in education, health, security, housing, employment, income, sanitation, transportation, environment environment and industry. In this way, it is understood that Capital cannot subjugate local society due solely to profit, since mineral extraction on the current scale, in addition to the significant values earned from it, effectively allow such enterprises to jointly create institutional programs that foster in the communities that live around them social policies that are consistent with the local reality and that, in view of that, can provide a better quality of life and a fair return of income so that those who live there feel part of a truly civilized, humanized society, connected, full and happy. Therefore, this article has the purpose of presenting a critical review about the documentary “The Aluminum Industry - The forest turned to dust”, addressing the social, economic and environmental aspects.
