REPRESENTAÇÃO SOCIAL DOS PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE: CUIDADO ÀS PESSOAS COM HIV NA REGIÃO SUDESTE
O trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as representações sociais de profissionais de saúde da região sudeste acerca do cuidado às pessoas vivendo com HIV. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, fundamentado na Teoria das Representações Sociais, utilizando a abordagem estrutural. Participaram do estudo 214 profissionais de saúde, que atuavam em SAE e CTA, nas cidades do Rio de Janeiro e Niterói. Foi aplicado um questionário de caracterização dos participantes e outro contendo a coleta de evocações livres ao termo indutor “Cuidado à pessoa com HIV/AIDS”. Os dados foram analisados com o auxílio dos softwares SPSS e EVOC 2005 com a caracterização do grupo e construção do quadro de quatro casas. Os resultados apontam que a representação do cuidado projeta-se para sua avaliação positiva, bem como revelam elementos que destacam a suas dimensões afetiva e técnica, com destaque para as palavras "amor" e "acolhimento". Esse perfil é frequentemente atribuído aos profissionais que atuam na área da saúde, o que revela uma dimensão idealizada desse grupo profissional.

Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to present the Social Representation (RS) of health professionals from the southeastern region about care for people living with HIV / AIDS. It is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, based on the Theory of Social Representations (SRT), using the structural method to analyze the representations of care for people living with HIV / AIDS. The study included 214 health professionals who worked in SAE and CTA units participating in the Department of Chronic Diseases and Sexually Transmitted Infections of the Ministry of Health, in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói. A participant characterization questionnaire and one containing the collection of free evocations to the inducing term “Care for the person with HIV / AIDS” was applied. The software SPSS and EVOC 2005 assisted in the data analysis with the construction of the four-house board. The results indicate that the representation of care is projected for its positive evaluation, as well as revealing elements that highlight its affective and technical dimensions, especially the words "love" and "reception". This profile is often attributed to health professionals, which reveals an idealized dimension of this professional group.
