RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA DE UMA ABORDAGEM POR PROJETO: A QUÍMICA DO COMBATE À DENGUE – UMA ALTERNATIVA AO ALCANCE DE TODOS
Atualmente devido à intensificação e a facilidade de acesso à informação, observa-se também o aumento na busca por metodologias ativas em sala de aula, onde o aluno é protagonista e responsável pela construção do conhecimento, desenvolvendo para além de conteúdos científicos as habilidades socioemocinais. Neste sentido, a abordagem por projetos torna-se uma alternativa promissora, pois o ensino está centrado no aluno e a aprendizagem pode ocorrer de forma colaborativa e participativa, tendo, ainda, maior conexão com a realidade na qual está inserido. Assim sendo, este trabalho apresenta o relato de experiência sobre a aplicação de um projeto com a temática Dengue em uma feira de ciências, de maneira a propagar o conhecimento de algumas plantas como repelente natural, além de divulgar e conscientizar em espaços físicos que ultrapassam os limites da escola. O projeto desenvolvido com os alunos do 9° ano do Ensino Fundamental anos finais, em quatro etapas, após a escolha da temática: a primeira etapa foi a obtenção do material vegetal, a segunda a extração dos componentes da planta, a terceira e quarta a produção da loção repelente e das velas. Após a produção de todo o material, este foi exposto a comunidade escolar e visitantes, com a culminância da feira, trazendo a reflexão e a importância dos conhecimentos acerca da doença, aumentando a conscientização sobre as ações de prevenção, além de divulgar as propriedades de algumas plantas como repelente natural. Neste sentindo, foi possível perceber que a aceitação por parte dos alunos, comunidade escolar e visitantes foi bem satisfatória, evidenciando que trabalhar os conteúdos através da abordagem por projeto proporciona um cenário favorável para que a aprendizagem ocorra de forma eficaz e prazerosa.

Abstract:
Currently due to the intensification and easy access to information, there is also an increase in the search for active methodologies in the classroom, where the student is the protagonist and responsible for the construction of knowledge, developing in addition to scientific content the socio-emotional skills. In this sense, the project approach becomes a promising alternative, as teaching is student-centered and learning can take place in a collaborative and participatory way, having even more connection with the reality in which it is inserted. Therefore, this work presents the experience report on the application of a project with the theme Dengue Fever in a Science fair, in order to spread the knowledge of some plants as a natural repellent, in addition to disseminating and raising awareness in physical spaces that exceed the school boundaries. The project developed with students from the 9th grade of elementary school in four stages, after the choice of the theme: the first stage was the obtaining of plant material, the second, the extraction of the plant components, the third and the fourth, production of repellent lotion and candles. After the production of all the material, it was exposed to the school community and visitors, with the culmination of the Science fair, bringing the reflection and the importance of knowledge about the disease, increasing awareness about prevention actions, in addition to publicizing the properties of some plants as a natural repellent. In this sense, it was possible to perceive that the acceptance by students, the school community and visitors was very satisfactory; showing that working with the contents through the project approach provides a favorable scenario for learning to occur effectively and pleasantly.
