RELAÇÃO ENTRE MATEMÁTICA E MÚSICA: UMA PROPOSTA METODOLÓGICA
Neste trabalho, é estabelecida a relação entre a matemática e a música desde os tempos de Pitágoras. Para tanto, também é descrita parte da evolução matemática a qual a música foi submetida durante os anos. Além disso, são apresentadas propostas de atividades a serem aplicadas em turmas do ensino fundamental, que abordam o estudo de frações e volume de líquidos. São duas sugestões, que devido ao período de pandemia não foram passíveis de aplicação, entretanto, foram planejadas a fim de complementar a aprendizagem dos alunos com práticas relacionadas. Ambas consistem na construção de instrumentos alternativos semelhantes ao monocórdio, na atividade 1, e com a mesma função do xilofone, na atividade 2. A construção dos materiais propostos pode ser realizada por parte dos alunos e com supervisão e auxílio do professor, com finalidade de estabelecer significado. Portanto, é estabelecida a relação tanto entre a matemática e a música, quanto para os resultados obtidos com o ensino de matemática.

Abstract:
In this work, the relationship between mathematics and music since the time of Pythagoras is established. For that, part of the mathematical evolution to which the music has been submitted over the years is also described. In addition, proposals for activities to be applied in elementary school classes are presented, which address the study of fractions and volume of liquids. There are two suggestions, which due to the pandemic period were not applicable, however, they were planned in order to complement student learning with related practices. Both consist of the construction of alternative instruments similar to the monochord, in activity 1, and with the same function of the xylophone, in activity 2. The construction of the proposed materials can be carried out by the students and with the supervision and assistance of the teacher, with the purpose of establish meaning. Therefore, the relationship between mathematics and music is established, as well as the results obtained with the teaching of mathematics.
