REFLEXÕES SOBRE O NÍVEL DE SOBRECARGA DO CUIDADOR A PARTIR DA PRODUÇÃO CIENTÍFICA
O processo de envelhecimento
populacional de modo crescente no Brasil é
resultado de mudanças no perfil demográfico e
populacional. O cuidador surge nesse cenário
como a pessoa de suporte ao desenvolvimento
e execução nas atividades básicas e diárias
do idoso. Compreendo o crescente processo
de envelhecimento populacional e da
longevidade, que resulta na maior necessidade
de cuidadores, seja informal como formal, o
presente estudo tem por objetivo conhecer a
produção científica acerca do ser cuidador e
o nível de sobrecarga do mesmo, por meio da
Escala Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI). Trata-se
de uma revisão integrativa, método análise de
uma gama de estudos. A busca foi realizada na
base de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde
(BVS) no período de outubro de 2018 a partir
da associação dos termos “escala de Zarit” e
“sobrecarga” e do descritor “cuidador”. Foram
identificados 147 estudos, a partir dos critérios
de inclusão e exclusão 17 artigos contemplaram
o objetivo da produção. Em relação ao perfil dos
cuidados dos 17 estudos, 16 os cuidadores são
do sexo feminino. Acerca do nível sobrecarga
um estudo do estado de São Paulo em 2017
apresentou predominância de sobrecarga leve,
e um estudo no país do Chile em 2015 teve
maior concentração de ausência de sobrecarga
(76,8%).

Abstract:
Population aging process
increasingly in Brazil is the result of changes
in the demographic and population profile. The
caregiver arises in this scenario as a support person to the development and execution
in the basic and daily activities of the elderly. Understand the growing process of
population aging and longevity, resulting in a greater need for caregivers, is informal
and formal, this study aims to understand the scientific production about being caregiver
and the overload level of the same, through the Scale Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI).
It is an integrative review, analysis method of a variety of studies. The search was
conducted in the Virtual Library database in Health (BVS) from October 2018 from the
association of the terms “scale of Zarit” and “overload” and the descriptor “caregiver”.
They identified 147 studies, from the criteria for inclusion and exclusion 17 articles
contemplated the purpose of production. Regarding the profile of the care of the 17
studies, 16 caregivers are female. About overload level a study of the state of São
Paulo in 2017 showed a predominance of light overhead, and a study in the country of
Chile in 2015 had the highest concentration of lack of overload (76.8%).
