Abstract: Digital transformation has brought significant changes to the ways people interact and communicate in contemporary society, directly affecting the church’s evangelistic mission. In Brazil—a country with high levels of internet access and intensive social media use—understanding digital consumption patterns is essential for developing relevant and contextualized evangelistic strategies. This bibliographic study analyzes key data on internet usage, social media, and digital platforms in the country, while also exploring the opportunities and challenges presented by this digital environment for gospel proclamation. The research is structured into four main axes: (1) data on digital consumption in Brazil; (2) opportunities that the internet presents for evangelization; (3) reflection on the impact of social networks on contemporary society; and (4) discussion of the challenges of preaching the gospel both in-person and online. The study aims to contribute to a strategic understanding of Christian mission in the digital context, emphasizing the importance of cultural adaptation without compromising the integrity of the Christian message.
