RECURSOS TECNOLÓGICOS E EAD: UMA DISCUSSÃO NECESSÁRIA
RESUMO: Neste capítulo focalizamos a discussão
sobre os recursos tecnológicos e a produção
de materiais didáticos para a modalidade de
educação a distância, as questões e os desafios
que provocam para que se estabeleçam os
processos comunicacionais característicos da
EAD. Trazemos para reflexão a literatura da área
por julgar necessário o debate sobre os recursos
midiáticos e as práticas que são efetivadas no
contexto da EAD e assim, compreender os recursos
tecnológicos materializados nos materiais
didáticos como um campo de possibilidades de
construção de conhecimento. Para tanto, nos
valemos de uma investigação de cunho qualiquantitativa,
com a utilização de instrumento de
coleta de dados por meio de questionários online.
O lócus de investigação foi constituído pelos
cursos de graduação: bacharelado, licenciatura,
tecnológicos e sequenciais, de uma IES de ensino
superior privada, localizada em Minas Gerais,
ofertados na modalidade a distância. Acreditamos
que esse estudo possa contribuir para ampliação
das discussões sobre o uso de recursos
tecnológicos na EAD, sobre as mídias digitais no
ensino, no processo de ensino-aprendizagem
com vistas a autonomia e satisfação do aluno,
especificamente nas práticas que permeiam a
produção dos materiais didáticos, na medida
em que cenários, saberes, conceitos e práticas
estão imbricados nesse movimento de produção
didático-pedagógica. Os resultados sobre os
temas suporte ao aluno, qualidade do material,
interação virtual demonstraram o alcance que os
recursos tecnológicos e midiáticos da referida IES
têm proporcionado aos alunos de forma favorável
e a necessidade de revisão de alguns aspectos
definidores da interação por meio das aulas
virtuais.

Keywords: In this chapter, we focus on the discussion of technological resources and the production of didactic materials for the distance education modality, the issues and the challenges they cause in order to establish the communicational processes characteristic of EAD. We bring to the reflection the literature of the area by recognizing the importance of the debate about the media resources and the practices that are carried out in the context of the EAD and thus, to understand the technological resources materialized in didactic materials as a field of possibilities of knowledge construction. We applied a qualitative-quantitative approach to this investigation, by means of online questionnaires, as an instrument of data collection. The Desafios e Estratégias para a Educação a Distância - Vol 2 Capítulo 3 30 research locus was made up of the undergraduate courses: professional qualifications such as research or education; teaching/learning of children, young people and adults; technological and sequential courses of a IES of private higher education, located in Minas Gerais, offered by distance education. We believe that this study may contribute for further discussions about: the use of technological resources in distance education, digital media in teaching and learning process considering the student autonomy and satisfaction, specifically in the practices that involve the production of didactic materials, as well as scenarios, knowledge, concepts and practices are imbricated in this movement of didacticpedagogical production. The results about the subjects support to the student, material quality and virtual interaction demonstrated the reach that the technological and media resources of the analyzed institution have provided the students in a favorable way and the need to review some important aspects of the interaction through virtual classes.
