RECICLAGEM DE RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS EM UM COLÉGIO DA REDE ESTADUAL NA CIDADE DE PEDRO II- PIAUÍ: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Um grande problema enfrentado pelo meio ambiente é a produção excessiva de lixo pela sociedade. A reciclagem se mostra como uma alternativa na minimização da poluição ambiental, visto que a quantidade de lixo a ser descartada é diminuída.Nesse contexto, destaca-se que a percepção ambiental do indivíduo deve ser estimulada desde a infância, sendo a escola uma grande aliada nesse processo. Nessa pesquisa, foi proposta uma atividade prática sobre reciclagem de papel em um colégio da rede estadual pública de ensino, localizado na cidade de Pedro II-PI. Durante a realização do projeto, observou-se que os alunos mostraram-se receptivos e participativos, relatando grande afinidade por atividades práticas na disciplina de ciências. Dado as observações e as respostas ao questionário, constatou-se que a atividade proposta foi capaz de contribuir na inserção de abordagens complementares no ensino de ciências.

Abstract:
A major problem faced by the environment is the excessive production of waste by society. Recycling is na alternative to minimize environmental pollution, since the amount of waste to be discarded is reduced. In this context, it is high lighted that the individual's environmental perception should be stimulated since childhood, with the school being a greatally in this process. In this research, a complementary approach in science teaching was proposed using a practical activity on paper recycling at a public state school, located in the city of Pedro II-PI. During the realization of the project, it was observed that the students were receptive and participative, reporting great affinity for practical activities in the science discipline. Given the observations and analysis of the data obtained, it was found that the proposed activity was able to contribute to the insertion of complementary approaches in science teaching.
