REALIZAÇÃO DE UMA OFICINA DE SHANTALA NA UNIDADE NEONATAL DE UM HOSPITAL PÚBLICO DE FORTALEZA COMO FERRAMENTA PARA EMPODERAMENTO DOS PAIS NA AMAMENTAÇÃO
Trata-se de um relato de experiência da equipe de residentes da Residência Multiprofissional em Terapia Intensiva Neonatal do Hospital Geral de Fortaleza, no Ceará, sobre a realização de uma Oficina de Shantala na Unidade Neonatal do referido hospital, ocorrida em 22 de agosto de 2019, como uma das ações referentes ao Agosto Dourado. Objetivou-se pormenorizar a facilitação da Oficina de Shantala como uma ferramenta terapêutica de baixo custo e não dependente de aparatos tecnológicos para conexão entre os pais e a criança, empoderando-os, de modo a favorecer o sucesso na amamentação. Participaram 18 mães, 1 pai e 1 avó. De modo geral, a oficina sensibilizou não somente a equipe de residentes para seu exercício profissional atual e futuro, mas também os pais e familiares que participaram. Pôde-se observar a atenção e o valor ao que estava sendo exposto. Isso foi ratificado pela atenção e integração dos pais, tanto como participantes diretos das oficinas, quanto na elaboração de questionamentos à equipe. Além disso, a importância e o impacto da Oficina de Shantala foi sentido pelos agradecimentos e pela expressão de interesse em realizar a massagem quando do retorno ao lar.

Abstract:
This is an experience report of the team of residents of the Neonatal Intensive Care Multiprofessional Residency of the General Hospital of Fortaleza, Ceará, about the holding of a Shantala Workshop in the Neonatal Unit of the referred hospital, which took place on August 22, 2019, as one of the actions regarding Golden August. The objective was to detail the facilitation of the Shantala Workshop as a low cost therapeutic tool and not dependent on technological devices for the connection between parents and the child, empowering them to favor breastfeeding success. Eighteen mothers, one father and one grandmother participated. Overall, the workshop sensitized not only the team of residents to their current and future professional practice, but also to the parents who participated. It could be observed the attention and value to what was being exposed. This was confirmed by the parents' participation, both as direct participants of the workshops, and in the elaboration of questions to the team. In addition, the importance and impact of the Shantala Workshop was felt by the thanks and expression of interest in performing the massage upon return home.
