PROTOCOLO DE TERAPIA ASSISTIDA POR ANIMAIS EM UM HOSPITAL PÚBLICO EM REGIÃO DE FRONTEIRA
Atualmente existem diversas técnicas para melhorar o atendimento em estabelecimentos de saúde e realizá-los de forma humanizada. Uma das técnicas utilizadas pelas instituições de saúde é a Terapia Assistida por Animais. Objetivo do Estudo: Criar um ambiente hospitalar humanizado, desenvolver atividades recreativas junto com animais, auxiliando assim o desenvolvimento motor, desenvolver canais de relacionamento, tornando os pacientes mais receptivos ao tratamento e gerar saúde emocional, física e social. Metodologia: O projeto realizado no Hospital Municipal Padre Germano Lauck teve início em outubro de 2018 no setor de pediatria, conta com 25 cães e 45 voluntários que fazem parte do Projeto Dr. Patinhas criado em 2015, a visita dos cães ocorre semanalmente nas alas de psiquiatria e pediatria, sendo intercalado entre os setores. Resultados: Ao contrário do que muitos esperavam já foi relatado que pacientes saíram de crises suicidas e se motivaram a seguir com o tratamento para poder cuidar de seus animais em sua residência, crianças que aceitaram melhor o tratamento para receber a visita dos cães no sábado, pacientes agressivos que expressam afetos com os animais e com os voluntários durante as visitas, pacientes que não precisaram ser medicados para dor ou febre depois da terapia. Conclusão: Percebe-se o grande aceite dos pacientes de familiares, a humanização expressa pelos funcionários que vêm à melhora gradativa dos pacientes e a expectativa dos mesmos em entrar em contato com os cães.

Abstract:
Currently, there are several techniques to improve health care and perform them in a humanized way. One of the techniques used by health institutions is Animal Assisted Therapy. Objective of the study: to create a humanized hospital environment, develop recreational activities with animals, assist in motor development, develop relationship channels, in order to help patients become receptive to treatment and generate emotional, physical and social health. Germano Lauck which took place in October 2018 in the pediatric ward, with 25 dogs and 45 volunteers that are part of the Dr. Patinhas Project created in 2015, the dog’s visit occur in a weekly basis in the psychiatry and pediatrics wards, being interspersed between sectors. Results: Contrary to what many expected, it was reported that patients with suicidal crises were motivated to follow the treatment so they could provide treatment to their own animals at their home, children would accept the treatment better to receive a visit from dogs on Saturday, aggressive patients would express affections with animals and volunteers during visits, patients who did not need to be medicated for pain or fever after therapy. Conclusion: it is possible to perceive the approval from a large number of patients and family members, the humanization showed by the employees who observe gradual improvement in the patients due to their expectation to come into contact with the dogs.
