PROMOÇÃO E PREVENÇÃO SOBRE CÂNCER DO COLO UTERINO EM UMA UNIDADE BÁSICA DE SAÚDE: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA.
O câncer do colo do útero é caracterizado pela replicação desordenada do epitélio de revestimento do órgão, comprometendo o tecido subjacente (estroma) e podendo invadir estruturas e órgãos contíguos ou à distância. Relatar a experiência vivenciada com mulheres, durante a promoção e prevenção sobre câncer de colo uterino. Trata-se de um relato de experiência de caráter descritivo. Durante a promoção em saúde, as mulheres receberam palestra sobre o que é câncer de colo uterino e quanto a sua prevenção. A qual foi explicados que o modo de prevenção e detecção do Câncer de colo uterino (CCU) é o exame de Papanicolau, que é conhecido popularmente como (exame preventivo) e a importância de sempre procurar a unidade básica de saúde para fazer exames preventivos e qual pode detectar a patologia no início

Abstract:
Cervical cancer is characterized by disordered replication of the organ's lining epithelium, compromising the underlying tissue (stroma) and may invade adjacent or distant structures and organs. There are two main categories of invasive carcinomas of the cervix, depending on the origin of the compromised epithelium: squamous cell carcinoma, the most incident type that affects the squamous epithelium (represents about 90% of cases), and adenocarcinoma, the rarest type and that affects the glandular epithelium (about 10% of cases) (INCA, 2018). The screening method for cervical cancer and its precursor lesions is the cytopathological examination. The first two exams must be performed at an annual interval and, if both results are negative, the next ones must be performed every 3 years (BRASIL, 2016).
