• Abstract: This article aims to report on the strategic project, which is being developed in a border region. It aims to promote the institutional internationalization policy of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFSUL) and the development of binationalization actions at the Jaguarão Advanced Campus. It consists of presenting the strategic project to be developed over the course of 2024 at the Campus. The Campus has a binational vocation and intends to consolidate this with the promotion of actions. The aim is to organize a course, identified as a strategic project, to provide professionals in the construction industry and graduates of the Campus' technical course in building construction with specific knowledge of Uruguayan standards and legislation. It also highlights the importance of innovative strategies to prepare professionals to work in both countries so that they have the specific knowledge to do so. In conclusion, this article provides an overview of the strategic project that will develop the course, taking into account its importance in the border region and its relevance to the institutional internationalization scenario. It aims to promote the institutional internationalization policy of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFSUL) and the development of binationalization actions in the border region.
