PROJETO ENGENHEIROS DO FUTURO: O LÚDICO COMO PRINCÍPIO DE APRENDIZAGEM DA EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL
Observa-se que a questão ambiental vem preocupando não somente os estudiosos da área, como também a sociedade em geral, haja vista que cada vez mais nota-se o desgaste e as catástrofes que ocorrem devido à falta de cuidados com a natureza. Considerando a temática “Educação Ambiental”, há a necessidade da prática de ações de abrangência coletiva. Diante disso, o trabalho apresenta a importância de informar ao público infantil acerca do referido tema, para que os mesmos venham a tornar-se multiplicadores de práticas de Educação Ambiental na comunidade, seja em casa, na escola e no convívio com terceiros. Nesse sentido, a referida pesquisa desenvolvida pelo Projeto Engenheiros do Futuro: Cuidando do meio ambiente no presente, realizado pelos alunos do curso de Engenharia Ambiental do Campus XX da Universidade do Estado do Pará, frisa os pontos cruciais da percepção ambiental de crianças por meio do trabalho lúdico, realizado na Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental “Cidade de Dom Bosco”, no município de Castanhal, estado do Pará, tendo como objetivo esclarecer, por meio do ideário lúdico, a urgência em adotar medidas sustentáveis no dia a dia desde a infância. Como fruto da ação, percebe-se a aplicação daslixeiras e do descarte correto de resíduos na escola, além do constante debate da temática ambiental.

Abstract:
It is observed that the environmental issue has been worrying not only the scholars of the area, but also the society in general, since the wear and the disasters that occur due to the lack of care with the nature are becoming increasingly noticed. Considering the theme “Environmental Education”, there is a need to practice collective actions. Given this, the work presents the importance of informing the children about this theme, so that they become multipliers of Environmental Education practices in the community, whether at home, at school and in contact with others. In this sense, the research developed by the Engineers of the Future Project: Caring for the Environment at the Present, carried out by students of the Environmental Engineering course of Campus XX of the State University of Pará, highlights the crucial points of the environmental perception of children through This work was carried out at the State School of Elementary School “City of Don Bosco”, in the municipality of Castanhal, state of Pará.. As a result of the action, we noticed the application of dumps and the correct disposal of waste in the school, in addition to the constant debate on environmental issues.
