PREVENÇÃO DE QUEDAS EM IDOSOS NO PÓS OPERATÓRIOS DE CATARATA: CUIDADOS DE ENFERMAGEM
O presente estudo trata sobre a catarata como a causa mais comum de cegueira no mundo e uma das doenças degenerativas mais prevalentes em idosos. Objetivo: Realizar uma revisão de literatura confirmando as principais causas de queda em idosos, esclarecendo sobre a cirurgia de catarata senil, utilizando também como referencial para adequações de cuidados de enfermagem para prevenção e manejo de quedas no pós-operatório. Método: Trata-se de revisão de literatura descritiva através de pesquisas fundamentadas em artigos científicos e monografias, no período de 2011 a 2021, utilizando os descritores para pesquisa. Foi desenvolvido um manual de orientação de pós-operatório para a prevenção de quedas, original, com ilustrações das próprias autoras, utilizando o software WordÒ e Power PointÒ, possibilitando a reprodução fácil. O estudo mostrou as complicações nos pós-operatório de catarata em idosos como queda, e as mudanças demográficas no perfil do envelhecimento populacional que modificou ao longo tempo, e a finalidade do estudo e traçar os cuidados de enfermagem para prevenção de queda em idoso e fornecer qualidade e autonomia aos idosos no pós-operatório a fim de evitar futuras complicações e possíveis quedas.

Abstract:
The present study deals with cataracts as the most common cause of blindness in the world and one of the most prevalent degenerative diseases in the elderly. Objective: To carry out a literature review confirming the main causes of falls in the elderly, clarifying about senile cataract surgery, also using it as a reference for nursing care adjustments for the prevention and management of falls in the postoperative period. Method: This is a descriptive literature review through research based on scientific articles and monographs, from 2011 to 2021, using the descriptors for research. An original post-operative guidance manual for the prevention of falls was developed, with illustrations by the authors themselves, using Word and Power Point software, enabling easy reproduction. The study showed the complications in the postoperative period of cataract in the elderly, such as falls, and the demographic changes in the profile of population aging that have changed over time, and the purpose of the study is to outline nursing care for the prevention of falls in the elderly and to provide quality and autonomy for the elderly in the postoperative period in order to avoid future complications and possible falls.
