PREVENÇÃO DA ARBOVIROSE CHIKUNGUNYA: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
A febre de chikungunya é uma
arbovirose causada pelo vírus Chikungunya
(CHIKV), da família Togaviridae e do gênero
Alphavirus. O quadro clínico é inespecífico,
constituindo-se de sinais e sintomas comuns
a várias doenças infecciosas. Sendo assim as
formas de prevenção devem ser levadas em
consideração já que ainda não se tem vacina
disponível, as recomendações preconizadas
pelo Ministério da Saúde se restringem,
principalmente, a ações de combate aos vetores
intradomiciliares, eliminando os possíveis
criadouros. Objetiva relatar a atividade
educativa dos discentes do Grupo de Pesquisa
e Extensão em Atenção Primária à Saúde
(GPAPS), do curso de Enfermagem, em abordar
a importância da conscientização na prevenção
do combate Chikungunya e às Arboviroses.
Trata-se de um relato de experiência, realizado
em uma instituição de ensino superior, localizada
na cidade de Fortaleza, no mês de abril de
2017. Na oportunidade, o grupo utilizou-se de
equipamentos para interagir com o público e
de criatividade para convidar os participantes
e atrair a atenção dos mesmos. O grupo de
pesquisa, a pedido do gestor e acompanhado
de um funcionário, fez uma vistoria no prédio
em busca de possíveis focos, orientações foram
repassadas ao funcionário de onde e como
encontrar possíveis criadouros. Percebeu-se
que há uma familiarização com a prevenção do
Aedes aegypti, porém, ainda existiam muitos conhecimentos superficiais e mitos, que
foram esclarecidos durante a educação em saúde e a inspeção da instituição.

Abstract:
Chikungunya fever is an arbovirus caused by the Chikungunya virus
(CHIKV), the Togaviridae family and the Alphavirus genus. The clinical picture is nonspecific, constituting signs and symptoms common to several infectious diseases.
Therefore, preventive measures must be considered, since the vaccine is not available
yet, the recommendations recommended by the Ministry of Health are restricted mainly
to actions to combat the intradomiciliary vectors, eliminating possible breeding sites.
It aims to report the educational activity of the students of the Project of Research
and Extension in Primary Health Care of Nursing course in addressing the importance
of awareness in the prevention of Chikungunya and Arbovirus. This is an experience
report, carried out in a higher education institution, located in the city of Fortaleza, in
April 2017. At the opportunity, the group used equipment to interact with the public and
creativity to invite the participants and attract their attention. The research group, at the
request of the manager and accompanied by an employee, inspected the building for
possible outbreaks, guidelines were passed on to the employee from where and how to
find possible breeding sites. It was noticed that there is a familiarity with the prevention
of Aedes aegypti, however, there was still a lot of superficial knowledge and myths,
which were clarified during health education and institution inspection.
