Abstract: The teaching-learning process today has undergone many transformations, raising concerns among education professionals seeking ways to make learning as engaging as possible for students. Therefore, the theme of this research was "Pedagogical and Playful Practices in the Teaching-Learning Process in Geography at Saturnino Marães Neto State School in the Municipality of Carauari, Amazonas, Brazil, from 2021 to 2022." The general objective was to analyze the challenges of incorporating playful games into the teaching-learning process of Geography at Saturnino Marães Neto State School in the Municipality of Carauari, Amazonas, Brazil, from 2021 to 2022. The importance of playful games in the teaching-learning process of Geography is highlighted. The research used a descriptive exploratory methodology with a qualitative-quantitative approach, through questionnaires administered to teachers and students, thus enabling a discussion of the respondents' statements. It was found that play is a tool that can be used in classrooms to strengthen these students' learning processes. It is evident that teachers who work with students require training to continually seek pedagogical innovations that improve the school environment and learning rates at the school where this research is focused.
