POR UMA EPISTEMOLOGIA DO OPRIMIDO: ESTUDO DO ROMANCE O LOUCO DO CATI DE DYONÉLIO MACHADO
Este artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre o papel da literatura e da crítica literária no século XXI. A análise tem como suporte teórico o estruturalismo genético de Lucien Goldmann em Sociologia do Romance (1967) para quem a materialidade do romance resulta das tensões sócio históricas, portanto as estruturas no plano da forma e do conteúdo são homólogas às estruturas externas da vida social. Tomando como referência o método goldmanniano, este artigo analisa a obra O louco do Cati (1984) de Dyonélio Machado no que se refere à forma e ao conteúdo buscando estabelecer uma homologia entre a obra e as representações do mundo do oprimido e dos mecanismos de opressão que buscam consolidar a dominação dos opressores e da possibilidade de desmascarar todas as incoerências e dissimulações que a ação dos opressores.

Abstract:
This article aims to reflect on the role of literature and literary criticism in the 21st century. The analysis is theoretically supported by the genetic structuralism of Lucien Goldmann in Sociology of Romance (1967) for whom the materiality of the novel results from socio-historical tensions, therefore the structures in terms of form and content are homologous to the external structures of social life. Taking the Goldmannian method as a reference, this article analyzes the work O crazy of Cati (1984) by Dyonélio Machado in terms of form and content, seeking to establish a homology between the work and the representations of the world of the oppressed and the mechanisms of oppression that seek to consolidate the domination of the oppressors and the possibility of unmasking all the inconsistencies and disguises that the action of the oppressors.
