POLÍTICA BRASILEIRA DE ASSISTENCIA SOCIAL E O SERVIÇO SOCIAL: ATUAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL FRENTE À CONSOLIDAÇÃO E AMPLIAÇÃO DOS SERVIÇOS SOCIOASSISTENCIAIS
O presente artigo busca apresentar
alguns elementos que conformam a Política
de Assistência Social no Brasil, destacando o
seu processo de ampliação e consolidação,
destacando como isto ocorreu sob uma lógica
baseada no ideário neoliberal. Este estudo nos
remete, também, a reflexão sobre a gestão do
fundo público na sociedade contemporânea,
fruto de um projeto neoliberal que defende
a necessidade do enxugamento do Estado
e o desmonte do fundo, principalmente no
que se refere ao pólo de financiamento dos
bens e serviços públicos - salários indiretos.
Fruto de pesquisa documental e bibliográfica,
apresentamos aos leitores alguns elementos
que demarcam a reconfiguração da política
de assistência social e dos serviços por ela
ofertados, destacando que apesar de avanços,
muito ainda se tem para conquistar, numa
proposta de tornar o crescimento quantitativo
sinônimo de melhores serviços prestados.

Abstract:
The present article seeks to
present some elements that make up the
Social Assistance Policy in Brazil, highlighting
its process of expansion and consolidation,
highlighting how this occurred under a logic
based on neoliberal ideology. This study also
refers to the reflection on the management of
the public fund in contemporary society, the
result of a neoliberal project that defends the
need to reduce the State and the dismantling
of the fund, especially as regards the financing
of goods and public services - indirect wages.
As a result of documentary and bibliographic
research, we present to readers some elements
that mark the reconfiguration of the social
assistance policy and the services offered by it,
noting that despite advances, much remains to
be achieved in a proposal to make quantitative
growth synonymous with services.
