POLICIAMENTO COMUNITÁRIO COMO ESTRATÉGIA ORGANIZACIONAL: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DA POLÍCIA MILITAR NA ESCOLA IVETE OLIVEIRA EM SERRINHA -BAHIA
O presente artigo discute a questão
do policiamento comunitário como estratégia
organizacional. É um estudo desenvolvido
com sustentação teórico-metodológica na
abordagem quali-quantitativa a partir de uma
pesquisa descritiva, tendo como dispositivo de
coleta de dados questionários, que visam a saber
a opinião dos componentes da Escola Ivete
Oliveira, localizada em Serrinha-Ba, acerca da
Polícia Militar Comunitária. O objetivo principal
é analisar as estratégias de policiamento
comunitário para melhorar a imagem da Polícia
Militar e saber qual a percepção dos funcionários
e estudantes da instituição de ensino sobre
essas estratégias. O referencial teórico foi
produzido à luz de estudiosos renomados na
temática em questão. Nos resultados, verificase
que a maioria dos componentes da Escola
Ivete Oliveira compreende que a presença do
policial no ambiente escolar visa a promover a
interação entre polícia e comunidade.

Abstract:
This article discusses the issue
of community policing as an organizational
strategy. It is a study developed with theoreticalmethodological
support in the qualitativequantitative
approach from a descriptive
research, having as a device data collection
questionnaires, which aim to know the opinion
of the components of the Ivete Oliveira School,
located in Serrinha-Ba, about the Community
Military Police. The main objective is to analyze
community policing strategies to improve the
image of the Military Police and to know the
perception of the institution’s employees and
students about these strategies. The theoretical
reference was produced in the light of renowned
scholars in the subject matter. The results show
that most of the components of Escola Ivete
Oliveira understand that the presence of the
police in the school aims to promote interaction
between police and community.
